University of Minnesota
| Launched 2017
The University of Minnesota Department of Epidemiology contracted with High Monkey to develop a website that would engage and provide educational resources to an online community of men who are recovering from prostate cancer. The website is named 'Restore' and is hosted by the University as a secure extranet.
Project Scope
Because of the need to provide an online community and a secure platform for communication among educators, resource providers, and prostate cancer survivors, High Monkey proposed a LMS (Learning Management System) running on the Drupal platform as the solution. Beyond the work of integrating and customizing the LMS, High Monkey set up a secure environment that assured site members of confidentiality in their online discussions about their very personal experience with prostate cancer. Different resource providers and educators were pleased with their easy to use access to the site for uploading videos, slideshows, and other information. High Monkey provided some additional support and enhancements to the Restore website in 2021.
