Crafting a digital strategy
In today’s ultra connected digital landscape, having a website is not enough. Your website is just one piece of the puzzle in your overall digital strategy, which must include your social accounts and other digital channels to find success. By integrating all of your online resources into your digital strategy, we can help you create a seamless user experience that enhances your organization’s presence and drives engagement. Whether you’re looking to increase website traffic, generate leads, or spread brand awareness, we’ve got you covered when it comes to creating a standout digital presence.
Did you know that user-centered websites can lead to a significant boost in conversions
Studies have found that when websites are easy to use and understand, more people tend to stay longer, explore more, and end up buying or taking desired actions. So, by making your website user-friendly and considering what your audience wants, you can increase your chances of success and achieve your goals.
Specialization Station
User Experience & Information Architecture
A website is only as good as it is usable. We take pride in developing people-centered designs that are intuitive and easy to navigate. We understand that the user’s experience is the vehicle to a website’s success, and this is why we take the time to research and analyze your audience’s needs and behaviors before improving an existing design or creating a new one. Our team of experts is skilled in developing information architectures that ensure your website’s content is structured logically and with the user in mind, making for a seamless user experience.
Design
We are committed to creating responsive designs that are accessible to everyone. We prioritize inclusive design, which ensures all users can access and engage with your website, regardless of their abilities. Our team has extensive experience in developing flexible designs that adapt to any device or screen size, so you won’t have to worry about inconsistent user experiences across different platforms. We have been able to successfully apply these principles to countless projects, and we sure are proud of that!
Content Management System (CMS) Building
Fun fact: High Monkey’s alter ego is commonly known as the CHRHA (CMS-Human Relationship Healing Agency). We have lots of experience with a variety of CMSs, such as SiteCore, Kentico, Drupal, and we know that they aren’t always the best experience to work with. What we’ve found is that issues tend to arise when you bend your needs to fit a CMS, so one of our central goals is to help bend the CMS to fit your needs, or even implement a new one that will better fit your situation. We work closely with our clients to understand their content management needs and provide solutions that streamline their content creation or management processes.
Quality Assurance & Testing
We don’t like to launch buggy stuff - that makes us both look pretty bad. Before any project we work together on is good to go, it will undergo extensive testing to ensure the final product is high-quality and bug-free. We perform both automated and manual testing, as well as accessibility testing, all to make sure that your website works perfectly as intended for all audiences.
Knowledge Transferring and Training
As much fun as we will have working together, we don’t want to have to stick around too much after our project is completed. We will leave you perfectly capable of navigating and managing your new website thanks to the knowledge training we provide, allowing your team to confidently manage and maintain the website long after the project is completed. We provide training materials, guides, and ongoing support to make sure that our clients are equipped with the knowledge they need to succeed.
Four reasons websites tend to suck
Poor User Experience (UX) Design
Websites tend to suck when they have cluttered layouts, confusing navigation, slow loading times, and excessive ads that frustrate users and hinder their ability to find information or perform desired actions easily.
Lack of Responsive Design
Websites that fail to adopt responsive design, adjusting the layout and content to fit different screen sizes, tend to be received poorly because they offer distorted layouts, cut-off content, and require excessive zooming and scrolling on mobile devices, leading to a frustrating user experience.
Outdated Content and Design
Websites that lack fresh, updated content and visually appealing designs are considered subpar. This is mainly because users question their credibility and reliability, while outdated design trends or neglecting visual aesthetics make them feel unappealing and unprofessional.
Slow Loading Times
Websites with slow loading times fall under the lackluster category because they frustrate users who expect quick access to information. Factors such as unoptimized images, excessive HTTP requests, bloated code, or inadequate server resources can contribute to this issue.
