Talentgear Website Redesign
Personality Profile Solutions | Launched 2020
The Talent Gear website was designed and built by the High Monkey Team using the Kentico Software MVC development model in order to provide 'forward-compatibility' and code re-use for multiple websites. The Kentico page editor delivers a much improved user interface while Content Widgets and Sections were improved by making them simultaneously more 'free form' while including controls on the development side that only allows content to be added in a way that will display correctly.
Project Scope
Our Approach
A notable MVC development effort that High Monkey added to the Talent Gear website included a 'Transformable Widget'. This one content widget allows content and images to be displayed in five different views with a variety of columns and image placements. The Talent Gear website provides a wealth of knowledge in a 'Resources' area. High Monkey developed the Resources area of the site to include a 'category picker' to ensure that all Resources content are organized by the categories of Recruiting and Hiring, Leadership Development, Employee Retention, and Team Development. This development approach ensured that all new Resources content are validated for category assignment. The functionality to add additional tags was done programmatically using a visual picklist that emulates that function in the Kentico portal engine.
