Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry
Launched 2018
The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry oversees the state's apprenticeship, construction codes and licensing, occupational safety and health, wage and hour standards, and workers' compensation programs. The DLI’s mission is to ensure Minnesota's work and living environments are equitable, healthy and safe. Its vision is to be a trusted resource and an impartial regulator for employers, employees and property owners. The DLI website plays a key role in communicating that mission and providing essential online tools and information.
Project Scope
The DLI website project was a complete redesign and re-architecting of the website, the creation of a new content strategy, significant content re-writing, and the build-out of the new website using Drupal within the Acquia Cloud environment. High Monkey was fortunate to work with DLI’s core web team throughout the entire project and greatly enjoyed our collaboration with them. The re-design focused on providing a clear content path for visitors as well as drawing attention to permits and licenses – two area of information that are most frequently accessed by website visitors.
