Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Security | Launched 2019
The Launch Minnesota project falls within the Commissioner's office for the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). The Launch Minnesota initiative exists to support and build business innovation and a culture and climate for startup businesses in Minnesota. The website provides access to information and resources for innovation grants, tax credits, investors, crowdfunding, and education grants, as well as a variety of other resources for entrepreneurs and business startups.
Project Scope
DEED contracted with High Monkey to build the Launch Minnesota website within a very short time window of 2 months. The website needed to 'live' within the State's SDL-Tridion CMS environment however, the short design and development timeline necessitated a slightly different approach. High Monkey developed the Launch Minnesota site in plain HTML in order to meet the launch deadline (no pun intended). Following the go-live for the Launch Minnesota site, High Monkey migrated the site into the CMS. The Launch Minnesota site was officially unveiiled via a DEED-hosted press conference on October 1, 2019.
