The Clinical Connect unit within Medtronic asked High Monkey to work with them to move from SharePoint on-premise into O365 SharePoint. This project was also an opportunity to clean up content and file libraries and to optimize the number of sites managed by Clinical Connect.
Project Scope
High Monkey defined a strategy for the Medtronic Team to build sites and pages in O365 SharePoint including guidance on overall page layouts and types of content. We also identified the overall 'look and feel' of the Clinical Connect site based on the visual differences between the on-prem and O365 SharePoint versions. During the migration planning process,
High Monkey conducted a comprehensive inventory of content, mapped the content to be migrated, and reduced the number of sites from 75 to 50. Specific tasks during this project included rebuilding 20+ forms and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate, and leveraging Powershell scripts within Sharegate for migration mapping. A final major component of this project was the migration of charts and very large visualization data sets using Power BI.
