Medtronic
Customer Since 2009
High Monkey has been providing website and portal development services to Medtronic since 2009. We are well into the double digits for the number of projects we have completed in partnership with different Medtronic business units and departments. Medtronic is one of the world’s largest medical technology companies, with a global reach extending to more than 120 countries, 80,000+ employees, and treating over 8 million people annually.
Projects
The Clinical Connect unit within Medtronic asked High Monkey to work with them to move from SharePoint on-premise into O365 SharePoint. This project was also an opportunity to clean up content and file libraries and to optimize the number of sites managed by Clinical Connect.
With multiple distinct operating business units, Medtronic had a need to centralize their internal intranet, ‘myMedtronic’, in order to provide a unified corporate experience for their employees. In some countries, low bandwidth was a major concern so the site could not be too graphically intensive or slow to display.
Medtronic requested that High Monkey build an intranet site for their Americas region that included business units from Canada, Latin America, and the United States.
Medtronic identified a need to create an internal promotional site for their Women in Science & Engineering (WISE) initiative. This project included a separate design template for use across the site's four sub-sites; Retention, Outreach, Acquisition, and Development.
